my story

From College Side Hustle to Franchise Founder

I got my start painting student housing in college to pay for school. After graduation, I found myself in South Florida helping with Hurricane Andrew cleanup — and that’s where the entrepreneurial spark really lit. I saw an opportunity in restoration services and ran with it.

Building a National Franchise Brand

In 1994, I founded AdvantaClean, a restoration and environmental services company. Over 25 years, I grew it into a national franchise with 240 locations across 37 states. We built more than just a brand — we built a purpose-driven business with a strong culture and serious operational horsepower.


In 2017, I went undercover on CBS’s  Undercover Boss. That experience — working alongside my team in disguise — was eye-opening and reaffirmed my belief in servant leadership. As I said then, “What we learned was meaningful and will help us as we open new markets and grow together.”

The Exit & What Came Next

In 2019, I sold AdvantaClean to Home Franchise Concepts, joining forces with a family of brands serving over 1,700 franchise territories. It was a high point in my franchising journey — and a new beginning.


Today, I serve as CEO of HomeFront Brands, a fast-growing platform of property service franchise companies. I also mentor emerging franchisors, speak at conferences, and run an education platform built to equip founders with the tools I wish I had when I started.

I'm a proud husband and father. I believe in discipline, fitness, and showing up for the people who count on you. Coaching youth sports taught me as much about leadership as any boardroom ever could. I bring that same energy — competitive, focused, team-first — to every brand I help build.
